Hindi-Speaking Therapist in Ontario
Virtual therapy in Hindi, English, or both, with Agam Palta, MA, Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO #18891).
आप अपनी बात अपनी भाषा में कह सकते हैं। Talk through what’s on your mind in the language that feels like home.
Why therapy in Hindi can help
When something hurts, the words that come first are often the ones you grew up with. Speaking in Hindi can make it easier to describe what’s happening without stopping to translate, especially when it involves family, home or memories from earlier in life. You can use Hindi, English, or switch back and forth freely.
In many families, mental health still isn’t talked about openly. If “लोग क्या कहेंगे” (what will people say) has made it hard to ask for support, you’re not alone. Therapy here is private and confidential.
