Meet Agam, RP(Q), MA, Practice Owner
Hi, I’m Agam. I started my journey into therapy as I kept noticing how easy it is for our struggles to be overlooked, especially when cultural expectations tell us to “just deal with it.” I’ve seen what happens when pain goes unspoken, the distance it creates between partners, the tension it adds to family gatherings, and the weight it places on your own shoulders.
What changed everything for me was discovering how powerful it can feel when someone truly listens, without judging or rushing you. That moment of being heard can open the door to real healing. This experience drives the way I work with every client. Outside the therapy room, you’ll usually find me spending time with the people I cherish.
My work is primarily rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS), an approach that helps you understand the different “parts” of yourself with curiosity and compassion. Rather than trying to push thoughts or emotions away, we explore what they are trying to protect and how they developed. This allows change to happen in a way that feels safe and lasting. I also integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Narrative Therapy to support your goals.

I combine evidence-based therapies with a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive lens to meet you where you are. Using Cognitive Behavioural Techniques, we will identify thought patterns that limit you and develop practical tools to shift toward more empowering beliefs. With Emotion-Focused Therapy, you will learn to connect with, process, and express your feelings safely, nurturing deeper bonds with yourself and others. Narrative therapy will help you reframe the stories you tell about your life, so you can move forward with confidence and purpose. Every session will be shaped by your goals, your pace and your lived experience.

- Why Clover?
Why “Clover”?
A clover is small, grounded, and resilient, quietly growing even in places that feel depleted. That’s how
healing often works: not in one dramatic moment, but through steady, supported steps. The hands in our logo represent what therapy should feel like: supported, not pushed. We don’t “fix”
you, we walk with you as you find your footing, your voice, and your way forward.
Support is the soil. Growth is the outcome.
- Values (distinctive and specific)
Our values
Safety first
You set the pace. We prioritize consent, nervous system regulation, and emotional safety.
Clarity over confusion
We make sense of patterns together and name what’s happening in plain language.
Gentle structure
Each session has direction, so you leave with something tangible, not just a conversation.
Compassion without minimization
We hold your story with care, without brushing past pain or rushing a “positive spin.”
Growth that fits real life
We focus on sustainable change steps you can actually do in your daily world.
- What we believe about change
What we believe about healing
We believe people aren’t broken; they’re doing their best with the awareness they learned under stress, pressure, or pain. Therapy is the process of gently updating our awareness: understanding what protects you, what costs you, and where you’re ready to change.
You can expect a space that is:
Collaborative (we decide together)
Grounded (we work with what’s real),
Respectful (your story is yours).
- How we work
Our approach
Clover Counselling is evidence-informed and client-centred. Depending on your goals and the therapist you work with, sessions may integrate strategies from modalities such as CBT, IFS, EFT, Narrative therapy, mindfulness, somatic grounding, and attachment-based therapy
What matters most:
We don’t force a one-size-fits-all model. We build a plan around you—your nervous system, your history, your culture, your relationships and your capacity right now.
